Taylor Swift's bitter then sweet ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris let his opinion (subtly) be known on Swift and Katy Perry's great friendship reconciliation. Oh No They Didn't pointed out that Harris liked the Instagram Perry posted of her and Swift hugging in Swift's "You Need to Calm Down" music video. "This meal is BEEF-free #MeatFreeMonday 🍔♥️🍟 #YNTCDmusicvideo Link in Stories," Perry captioned the 'gram.
Why did Harris like the photo on Perry's 'gram but not Swift's? Perry and Harris have collaborated since he and Swift split up in June 2016. The two did Harris' song "Feels" together back in June. Interestingly, Harris follows neither Perry nor Swift on Instagram so the photo wouldn't have come up on his feed. (And Perry and Swift don't follow Harris either.)
Swift has long moved on from Harris. She has been dating British actor Joe Alwyn for over two years. Harris, meanwhile, has been with model Aarika Wolf, who he took as his date to the BRIT Awards in February. The two were last photographed happy together on June 16:
Harris and Swift had a bit of drama after their breakup initially because Swift jumped right into her intense summer fling with Tom Hiddleston after they split. But after Hiddleston and Swift ended, things between her and Harris got better. The two were first reported by TMZ to be texting in September and have a renewed friendship.
Harris even tweeted a compliment to Swift in November, writing, "I am blessed to work with incredible artists like @rihanna and @taylorswift13 thank you" when it was revealed their song "This Is What You Came For" was certified two times platinum in the UK.
