Cara Delevingne and Ashley Benson have some people on Twitter convinced they low-key just got engaged during their Saint Tropez vacation, People is reporting. The girls were photographed out each wearing a new gold band on her left ring finger.
People reached out to the girls' reps for official confirmation, who did not respond to the outlet. Meanwhile, people on social media are buzzing that based off the photos, a secret proposal happened. But until Delevingne or Benson confirm the news, it's all just photo assumption.
Delevingne and Benson have been dating for the last year. At the beginning of June, Us Weekly reported that the two girls moved in together. Benson “sold her house in Los Angeles. She moved into Cara’s place there,” its source said.
"They are so great," the source continued. "All their friends mix well together. [They] are happier than ever."
A week later, Delevingne made her first public remarks about her and Benson's romance at the TrevorLIVE Gala. The two had just gone public with their romance on Instagram, sharing a video of them kissing to mark Pride Month.
When asked why they decided to make it Instagram official then, Delevingne said, "I don't know—because it is Pride, it's been 50 years since Stonewall [Riots] happened, and I don't know. It's been just about our one year anniversary, so why not?"
Delevingne also gave Benson a shoutout in her award acceptance speech, although she didn't name her. "I also have another very special woman in this room to thank, and you know who you are," she started. "She's one of the people who help me love myself when I needed it most, and I really needed it. She showed me what real love is and how to accept it, which is a lot harder than I thought." She finished her remarks by calling her girlfriend by a pet name: "I love you, Sprinkles."
