The first big quarantine love song has arrived, courtesy of Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber. The two singers released their first duet together, "Stuck With U," at midnight. The music video they released with it featured footage of them with their significant others (Bieber with wife Hailey Baldwin and Grande with boyfriend Dalton Gomez), along with other fans, family, and celebrities with their partner or group they're quarantining with.
Grande wrote on her Instagram yesterday afternoon about how excited she was to do this duet with Bieber. "I can’t fully articulate ……… howwwww happy i am that we waited this long to do this (the duet thing). This moment really means so much more than it ever could have if it had happened any other way or if it had been any other song. Being able to lend our voices to this project and collaborating on this has been so fulfilling and I really just love this song so much. Grateful to be doing this with my friend and also just wanted to express an enormous thank u to all of the brilliant creatives who worked on this song."
Bieber and Grande share writing credits on the song with their manager Scooter Braun along with Whitney Phillips, Skyler Stonestreet, Freddy Wexler, and Gian Stone. "Stuck With U" isn't specific to Grande and Bieber's relationships as much as it is capturing the feeling of being in quarantine with a loved one and accepting the ups and downs that come with it.
