Gigi Hadid took The Bachelorette's Tyler Cameron to his first big award show event with her, where he got to spend time with one of her most famous friends, Taylor Swift, for the first time publicly. E! reports the couple attended a MTV VMAs after party at the Fleur Room.
"Taylor greeted him with a big hug," a partygoer told the outlet. "Tyler and Gigi shared a kiss." Tyler C. and Gigi Hadid kissing at an industry party!! Things really have escalated.
E!'s source said Cameron and Hadid hung out with her sister Bella, Ansel Elgort, Halsey, and Hayley Kiyoko too. "It was a fun, intimate group," the source said. "Gigi's friends seem very familiar with Tyler and comfortable around him. He and Gigi were touchy feely and very cute all night."
Cameron was not with Hadid at the VMAs ceremony. Rumors sparked last week that the two could be attending together when outlets noted there was an empty seat beside Hadid's with the show's seating assignments.
Still, Cameron and Hadid have been practically inseparable this past month. The two went on over three public dates last week. They started their week returning home from their first trip upstate together. They had dinner with Serena Williams on Tuesday evening, then on Wednesday morning, Cameron was photographed leaving Hadid's place. On Thursday night, Hadid was photographed driving with Cameron, allegedly out of the city.
A source close to Cameron told E! earlier this month that Tyler C. was really, really happy dating Hadid. "He is having a lot of fun and has been very persistent with the relationship," the source explained. "Tyler makes sure that they always have a plan to see each other next before he leaves her. He never really thought that they would actually hangout, but these have been the best couple of weeks of his life."
A source close to Hadid told E! that Hadid is proceeding cautiously. "Gigi has been really hesitant about getting serious with him," that source said. "She feels she just ended a long-term relationship [her relationship with Zayn Malik] and wants to strictly have fun right now. She really enjoys hanging out with Tyler and he has spent the night over her house multiple times now. Tyler makes Gigi laugh continuously while they are together, and it's been a while since someone has sparked her interest."
