Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas made a strong bid for best dressed couple on the Golden Globes red carpet last night, with Chopra wearing an elegant pink off-the-shoulder dress and Jonas wearing a double breasted black suit. But Chopra didn't end the night in just one look because this is Priyanka Chopra, and she loves a good opportunity to dress up. The actress switched into a black outfit to match her husband's for the post-Globes dinner they had at Craig's. She wore a black sleeveless top with a sheer, embellished black skirt.
Chopra and Jonas were presenters together during the broadcast. It was their first Globes where they attended as husband and wife. Neither had nominations this year.
The two did kiss on the red carpet though, while doing an interview with Access Hollywood:
Chopra revealed that honestly, they did not try to match during Golden Globes night. "Well, we just realized on our way here this was our first major red carpet outside the Met Gala together, and we didn’t really coordinate," Chopra said. "I liked the outfit that I liked and then he liked the outfit. But it never typically happens that we end up complementing each other." One of the hosts pointed out the diamond necklace Chopra was wearing, joking, "But when Nick gave you this tonight, what did you say?"
Chopra joined in the joke, telling the hosts, "I said, 'Oh, it’s going to be a happy new year, baby.'" Then Jonas got flustered on camera to Chopra's amusement. You can watch it below:
